Ads with text and images may not exceed 155kb.

Make all images web ready and store all images on your web server.

Ads are best sent to us as prepared in Outlook, or as hidden urls posted on your web site.

Send us the url and we can duplicate it exactly.

Special NOTE:  In these days of strong competition what you put in the subject line is very important - it must pull the reader's attention and make them want to open your email over all the others everyone gets in their in boxes in today's very busy Internet.

Please be sure your images are loaded on your web site - so that they will show up in every server when going out bulk mail (technical explanations below).

 


More Image Assistance ...

1. Do NOT use MS Word. Use MS Outlook or Outlook Express instead, please. Word seems to have trouble linking to images on the Web for some reason. Outlook/Outlook Express are much easier to work with. You can use Dreamweaver, or another Web editing software, but no need to get too fancy. Outlook will be perfect.

2. Use ONLY standard fonts, which I mention below. And, don't use "Wingding" bullets. Again, that's a font not everyone will have. Use standard bullets from within Outlook/Outlook Express. Those should be fine.

3. Then, optimize your images file size (different than image size) for the Internet and put them on your server so you can link to them, instead of embedding them in your document.

4. Then, you will insert your images into the page clicking "insert" then "picture" then entering the URL (which you assign your images,) in the file name field that will be the direct link to the image on the server - example: http://www.yourweburl/images/stardoves.jpg)

The fonts that are standard include:
Arial, Times New Roman, Helvetica, Georgia, and Courier.

Those are the most common. If you stick with these, most people will view your message as you intended it to be viewed. Otherwise, a computer will substitute a "default" font for the one you selected, if it does not have that font, and that can skew the ad anywhere from mildly to badly. So, standard fonts help readers to view the ad as you created it.

Image sizes are different than file sizes. In other words, an image that takes up an entire screen may have a very large image size, but can still be a smaller file size than a much smaller-sized image if it is properly optimized and the smaller one isn't.

File size of images is important as it will add to the overall "weight" of your message and many people are still on a dial-up connection and will not want to wait for a large file to download. So, if you need help with optimizing your images, which means striking a balance between image quality and file size, there is various software available It is much better to host any images on a separate server and link to them, versus "embedding" them in the e-mail itself, as those will often not show up for people, depending on their computer, software and configuration.

MS WORD causes a big problem with emails and whenever I hear someone telling me they received a POOR response - then I know it is due to either a ms WORD problem . . . or a faulty html code adv., and many servers are blocking it and many readers are not getting them at all. Add that to bad relays that day and the other problems that can come up on the Internet and it can seem as if the mail did not go out at all!

This is one big reason why we allow so many sends in our packages and for so little price! Because we want you to succeed and we want you to have a try at it so many times so that like in the famous song, "If the left one doesn't reach them, then the RIGHT ONE WILL!
